The vertebrate animals
They are a group of animals with an articulated internal skeleton, which acts as a support for the body and allows its movement.

Features
- They have spine, formed by a series of articulated parts or vertebrae, which allow some movements and give them some flexibility
- The body is divided in head, trunk and extremities
- There are male and female individuals, that is, sex is differentiated.
The invertebrate animals
- Invertebrates lack spine and articulated internal skeleton.
- Most invertebrates have external protection, as if it were an armor, such as beetles, but there are invertebrates that do not have any protection, such as octopuses.
